Drama originally written in Quechua, considered by some to be of Inca origin and, as such, the oldest and most resounding expression of Andean literature. Long preserved as part of the oral tradition, in colonial times it was adapted for theatrical staging according to the Western mold, although the identity of the author remains anonymous.
